【摘要】:Thispracticecoversthepreparation,handling,testingandproceduresfortheuseofcelluloseacetatedosimetrysystems,andthespectrometric,densitometric,orphotometricreadoutequipmentformeasuringabsorbeddoseinmaterialsirradiatedbyphotonsandelectronsintermsofabsorbeddoseinwater.Note1-Celluloseacetatedosimeterreferstountintedandtintedcellulosetriacetate(CTA)orcellulosediacetate(CDA)filmdosimeter.Thispracticeappliestocelluloseacetatefilmdosimetersthatcanbeusedwithinpartorallofthespecifiedrangesasfollows:TheabsorbeddoserangeforuntintedCTAandCDAis5X10to3X10Gyforphotonsandelectrons,TheabsorbeddoserangefortintedCTAandCDAis1X10to1X10Gyforphotonsandelectrons,TheabsorbeddoserateforbothCTAandCDAisfrom0.03to3X10Gy/s,Theradiationenergyrangeforphotonsisfrom0.1to50MeV,andTheradiationenergyrangeforelectronsisfrom0.2to50MeV.Note2-Incaseswherelow-energyelectronsandchargedparticlescannotcompletelypenetratethethicknessofstandardCTAandCDAfilms,thinfilmsmaybeused(1,2).Theirradiationtemperaturerangeisfrom-10to70?C.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
