【摘要】:1.1TheserequirementscoverelectricallyconductivecorrosionresistantcompoundsforuseonthethreadsofRigidMetalConduit(RMC)andIntermediateMetalConduit(IMC).ThesecompoundsareintendedtoresistcorrosionandprovideelectricalconductivityinaccordancewithSection300.6(a)oftheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70-2002whenusedinaccordancewiththemanufacturers'sinstallationinstructions.1.2ThesecompoundsarenotsuitableforuseonconduitintendedforuseinHazardousLocationsasdefinedbytheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70.1.3Inadditiontotherequirementasspecifiedinthisoutline,thesecompoundsaretobeevaluatedfortheirsuitabilitywiththespecificconduittypeusedandthespecificapplication.
