【摘要】:ThispartofISO14577specifiesthemethodofinstrumentedindentationtestfordeterminationofhardnessandothermaterialsparametersforthethreerangesgiveninTable1.Themacroandmicrorangearedistinguishedbythetestforcesinrelationtotheindentationdepth.Attentionisdrawntothefactthatthemicrorangehasanupperlimitgivenbythetestforce(2N)andalowerlimitgivenbytheindentationdepthof0,2um.ThedeterminationofhardnessandothermaterialsparametersisgiveninannexA.Athighcontactpressures,damagetotheindenterispossible.Forthisreasoninthemacrorange,hardmetalindentersareoftenused.Fortestpieceswithveryhighhardnessandmodulusofelasticitytheinfluenceofindenterdeformationonthetestresultshouldbetakenintoaccount.NOTEThistestmethodcanalsobeappliedtothinmetallicandnon-metalliccoatingsandnon-metallicmaterials.Inthiscasethespecificationsintherelevantstandardsshouldbetakenintoaccount(seealso6.3).
