【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60898applies,toa.c.air-breakcircuit-breakersforoperationat50Hzor60Hz,havingaratedvoltagenotexceeding440V(betweenphases),aratedcurrentnotexceeding125Aandaratedshort-circuitcapacitynotexceeding25000A.Asfaraspossible,itisinlinewiththerequirementscontainedinIEC60947-2.Thesecircuit-breakersareintendedfortheprotectionagainstovercurrentsofwiringinstallationsofbuildingsandsimilarapplications;theyaredesignedforusebyuninstructedpeopleandfornotbeingmaintained.Theyareintendedforuseinanenvironmentwithpollutiondegree2.Theyaresuitableforisolation.Circuit-breakersofthisstandard,withexceptionofthoserated120Vor120/240V(seetable1),aresuitableforuseinITsystemsprovidedthattherequirementsofIEC60364-4-473:1977+A1:1998arecompliedwith.Thisstandardalsoappliestocircuit-breakershavingmorethanoneratedcurrent,providedthatthemeansforchangingfromonediscreteratingtoanotherisnotaccessibleinnormalserviceandthattheratingcannotbechangedwithouttheuseofatool.Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto-circuit-breakersintendedtoprotectmotors;-circuit-breakers,thecurrentsettingofwhichisadjustablebymeansaccessibletotheuser.Forcircuit-breakershavingadegreeofprotectionhigherthanIP20accordingtoIEC60529,foruseinlocationswherearduousenvironmentalconditionsprevail(e.g.excessivehumidity,heatorcoldordepositionofdust)andinhazardouslocations(e.g.whereexplosionsareliabletooccur),specialconstructionsmayberequired.Requirementsforcircuit-breakersfora.c.andd.c.operationaregiveninIEC60898-2.Requirementsforcircuit-breakerswhichincorporateresidualcurrenttrippingdevicesaretobefoundinIEC61009-1,IEC61009-2-1,andIEC61009-2-2.Aguideforco-ordinationundershort-circuitconditionsbetweenacircuit-breakerandanothershort-circuitprotectivedevice(SCPDs)isgiveninannexD.NOTE1Formoresevereovervoltageconditions,circuit-breakerscomplyingwithotherstandards(e.g.IEC60947-2)shouldbeused.NOTE2Foranenvironmentwithahigherpollutiondegree,enclosuresgivingtheappropriatedegreeofprotectionshouldbeused.NOTE3Circuit-breakerswithinthescopeofthisstandardmayalsobeusedforprotectionagainstelectricshockincaseoffault,dependingontheirtrippingcharacteristicsandonthecharacteristicsoftheinstallation.Thecriterionofapplicationforsuchpurposesisdealtwithbyinstallationrules.Thisstandardcontainsallrequirementsnecessarytoensurecompliancewiththeoperationalcharacteristicsrequiredforthesedevicesbytypetests.Italsocontainsthedetailsrelativetotestrequirementsandmethodsoftestingnecessarytoensurereproducibilityoftestresults.Thisstandardstatesa)thecharacteristicsofcircuit-breakers;b)theconditionswithwhichcircuit-breakersshallcomply,withreferenceto:1)theiroperationandbehaviourinnormalservice;2)theiroperationandbehaviourincaseofoverload;3)theiroperationandbehaviourincaseofshort-circuitsuptotheirratedshort-circuitcapacity;4)theirdielectricproperties;c)thetestsintendedforconfirmingthattheseconditionshavebeenmetandthemethodstobeadoptedforthetests;d)thedatatobemarkedonthedevices;e)thetestsequencestobecarriedoutandthenumberofsamplestobesubmittedforcertificationpurposes(seeannexC);f)theco-ordinationundershort-circuitconditionswithanothershort-circuitprotectivedevice(SCPD)associatedinthesamecircuit(seeannexD);g)theroutineteststobecarriedoutoneachcircuit-breakertorevealunacceptablevariationsinmaterialormanufacture,likelytoaffectsafety(seeannexI).
